a carb with a smaller body would fit better for sure, i just gotta figure out what carb i want to run and make it work!

It’s a shame that the Mikuni won’t fit, from what I have heard the Mikunis make great moped carbs once you tune them right. Would a smaller Mikuni fit or possibly a Keihin(sp?)? Would a different intake arrangement work?
From seeing what else you had to do just to fit what you had already have, adding anything other then stock to a Ciao is like trying to stuff 10 pounds of manure into a five pound bag. To think that I though Moby’s were bad for clearance.

noise restriction isn’t required, but most of us are running pipes that were designed for the street. tony built his pipe for racing only.
you should hear the go-karts, i don’t think any of them have silencers at all!
